Sick Sentence's

Here are the sick sentences. The ball came towards Richie. He jumped into the air. He held out his hands. He was excited. It was up to him.

Here are mine.
The ball hurled in the air like a rocket on fire towards him. Shooting in the air like he had springs in his feet Richie jumped into the air. Stretching his hands to his full potential he just caught the ball by his finger tips. As adrenaline filled his body he was on fire. The pressure was on as he was thrilled as it was up to him.

Kade was shocked.
Kade jaw drooped as his faced turned pale.
Tommy was excited.
Tommy eyes bulged open as he  looked like he was going to jump over the moon.
Bob felt sad.
Bob was swimming in his own tears.
Garry was angry.
Slowly changing Garry's face turned white to red as rage consumed him.

The man walked up the slope. He used poles. The sun was bright. The sky was blue. He looked forward to the view from the top

Here are mine.

The man heaved his heavy boot into the the thick layer of white snow. He thew his poles in the snow as he looked up at the journey above him. The sun was beaming in his eyes as he looked up. The sky was a beautiful blue. He was biting his tongue in anticipation for he could see the top.

Our class is learning about every day heroes this week we are learning about Sir Edmund Hillary.
We have to pretend to be Sir Edmund Hillary climbing a mountain we are going to do it in 3 parts. Beginning, Middle and End

Gazing up at Mount Everest I felt I was facing my death. A horrible tingle ran down my whole body. It took me 10 minutes to climb 20 meters up Mount Everest. I knew that it was a hard challenge so I was talking to myself positively saying "you can do it, push yourself, come on man you're not that old". 

Each step I took I was wanting to quit and it felt like I had a ton on my back. I was so hungry I just wanted to go home and be in a warm blanket with a cocoa in my hand. All I could see was a thick big blanket of clouds as the same level as me and I was walking on a thin blanket of ice.

Feeling proud  as I am only finger tips to the top of Mount Everest. I am pushing myself to get to the top. I have barely any breath left I have to breathe hard. As I got to the top I am colossally proud of myself as I heave my flag into the thick white snow. I was only at the top for two minutes but it felt like two hours. 

I was not looking forward to the trip down.

We have to do a Google Drawing. I have my reason for dinosaurs cos I think that there are dinosaurs on Mount Everest.

Kea Facts

This week was Green week the focus was New Zealand native birds I have done the Kea.

Film Festival

Today all of the Kauri team went to the film festival it was at the Civic Theatre. It was very boring my favourite film was about these people in a gym making noises that turned into music. The theatre was really cool it was like this light on and off at the sky is a shooting star and then they're these two lions or tigers with the glowing eyes it looked like a castle.   Here is some photos and there is a little information about the film I liked.
